FYI: I no longer get any errors in Edgy. It seems to be working
perfectly now. It seems to have been a problem with Edgy itself that
has since resolved itself.

New Information:
The crash is not happening at startup, it is actually happening at
shutdown. The crash report simply shows up the next time you log in. I
had reinstalled edgy and had not yet put synergy into my startup program
list but I had started it manually and everything worked fine. Then
I also get a crash report when ubuntu edgy starts up. However, the
program appears to be working just fine. I have synergys listed as one
of the startup programs in System|Preferences|Sessions. When I log into
ubuntu, I get the crash report icon in the upper left-hand corner saying
that synergys
