What does that mean, add -l /dev/null to the command line? What is
the full command to disable acpid logging? I'm getting an event in the
log every second, but I can't figure out how to disable it.

I've applied the suse fix for load/cycle problems under hardy, which
sets hdparm to 254 when on ac and 200 when on battery. Works fine on
boot. But when resuming from suspend I have to unplug the cord, or plug
in the cord, in order to get hdparm to use one of those two values. It

I'm on Ubuntu Gutsy and I am also unable to see cover art. I've ran the
command and attached the requested file.
I have no errors on startup with the plugin. It simply fails to retrieve
any cover art.
Internet connection is fine. This is a clean install with all the latest
updates.

running an up-to-date Gutsy install (uname -r = 2.6.22-14-generic).

problem to scripts that Ubuntu was using to shutdown alsa and bring it
back up during suspend resume sequence. After removing sound related
scripts from the suspend / resume cycle sound works normally.

It's a shame this is listed as 'wishlist'. It's more than a matter of
'preference' when it comes to removable media. New users are often
confused why they can't add files to their removable devices even though
it shows enough free space. The reason is because nautilus creates a
hidden trash folder

quit, but then I was able to browse and click links though firefox
