the newly installed application is not displayed on the "Installed" tab.

If you try to uninstall Steam using Ubuntu Software, only the steam-
installer metapackage is removed, not the actual steam package. This
issue is caused by GNOME Software that unfortunately does not support
uninstallation of unneeded dependencies. It would be great if this is

Any news? Steam still cannot be uninstalled on Ubuntu in an user-
friendly way. If you uninstall Steam using Ubuntu Software, only a
metapackage is removed, not the actual steam package.
