The performance of glxgears is terrible, considering the fact that I am on a i5

I can confirm this.
The segmentation fault doesn't produce any crash file in /var/crash, nor
it starts apport.
The only signs of debugging hints are obtainable starting rhythmbox from
terminal.

I launched amarok with -debug and I attach the results
