Addendum: I have now discovered something interesting enlightening this
problem. When I try Linux Mint 17 XFCE from usb (without installing to
computer) I am able to mount smb inside Thunar (smb://XXX.XXX.XX/XXX). I
just have to write username, domain and password once. When I install
the same syst

this, and I can understand it has taken time if only the norwegian
languange is affected by this, but it's have been like a year now

I think I finally got it :) Thanks for notifying me in a very pleasant way,
I'm pretty "new" around launchpad, sending reports I've done a couple
of times now, but never got a reply back.
It feels good to know someone acually using the information
"we" send when errors occures.

Oh, just a small note on the hardware: running the MSI Media Live, with an
HVR-4000.
Both 'real' card and virtual cards have the same problem. And it all works
after you find the strange solution, albeit only for a while. But that is
because of other things.

If someone is still looking at this, I might be persuaded to go through
the process with more logging on... But as 0.22 crashed so often in tv
mode I have booted it to the old and stable 0.21 partition. ;-)

I have the same on my Dell D800 with Intel Pro 2100. I was not able to
get it to work with WPA-PSK. In order to test I created a
wpa_supplicant.conf file and started the wireless network manually. I
indeed got the same error messages as you get:
