Well i`ve got this issue too (Acer TravelMate 2353, 2.6.28-15 and xorg-edgers intel drivers). Why don`t you post an instruction on how to downgrade to the version of the xserver-xorg-video-intel which is not affected by this bug? At least as a temporary workaround for those who don't want to up
