Yes, I aggree to make an exception. This may only be a small bug but new
users will struggle to cope as it doesn't happen on Windows or Mac OS X.

Binary package hint: yelp
On the menu bar, where there is normally File, Window, Help etc there are
squares with the numbers such as 010 453 in them.
I'm running Maverick Meerkat and yelp is Gnome 2.30.1

Sorry, what I meant is when you click Help - About menu it opens however on
the task bar, the about window is listed as running as it is and it appears you
can go back to the main program without closing the About Window.
I personally see this as a bug and/or a papercut that could be fixed for
I do not know what a 'Modal' dialog is although it sounds right. We
could just leave it as it is if you do not feel comfortable and not sure
what to do.

The about window pops open and overlays the main app window. On the taskbar you
can click on PiTiVi but the about window overlays preventing the app from being
used.
