Using the default (apt) deja-dup with the online accoutns in ubuntu 18.04.
I found out a workaround for this. If you keep the session open manually by
reading a file over and over you can reset the timer described here:

Latest kernel linux-image-4.15.0-76 is not able to recognise the
external displays from the docking station
$ lsb_release -rd

this was missing either. really strange why would these packages not
reinstall with the new kernel . I m assuming these were removed when I
got rid of 4.15.0-44-generic.
