I did a clean install of ubuntu 12.04 two days ago. Then installed all
updates from update manager yesterday. While installing the updates I
got a prompt asking me to send this info to the bugs center for fixing
this.

Whenever I try to install the restricted extras I get debconf dox, which
has nothing in it. and the progress bar in the software center will keep
rolling without doing any download.
