install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned
error exit status 1
Package remains uninstalled, and error re-occurs on any attempt to use
Note that I'm getting the same traceback as noted in messages #20 and
#22.

I get this error too, and have been getting it since I upgraded from 7.10 to
8.04.
Disabling glipper seems to bypass it, but doing without glipper when using
synergy is quite painful.
