I have a bad branch kernel installed 5.12.5-051205-generic I need to get
rid of it and change to kernel version 5.11.0-43-generic.
However, I have no WiFi hardware detected when booted into 5.11 kernel from
grub menu.
I can ONLY get my WiFi hardware to detect in kernel
I'd like to see this change too. Every other design program I've used
has had the origin at top left because that is how we read a page (top
to bottom). This isn't a mathematical graph we're wanting to draw here
(usually) :P

incorrect BIOS setting, given that it is a very similar model to mine.

In the case of my Acer Aspire the issue was caused by incorrect settings
in the BIOS for touch pad legacy support.

Touchpad not working in
My twitter account turned to null after I upgraded from 15.04 to 15.10.
Installing account-plugin-twitter fixed that, but I still have another
account listed as (null) which won't go away. I have no idea what type
of account is was supposed to be though. Only clue it gives is an email
address
OK, I figured out the other null is for Windows Live. I don't see a
plugin for windows live accounts.

I just restored my computer from a backup (Deja Dup in Ubuntu 14.04) and
ALL of my previous purchases are missing on the restored machine. It
want me to buy them all again.

This was being caused by a Yahoo account on my machine. Removing the
account and re-adding it fixed the problem.
The following fix worked for me:
Symptoms of a faulty Yahoo account in Online Accounts manifest as the
following: When you go to System Settings Online Accounts, click on
your Yahoo
Does the horizontal black lines garbage which flicks up in this video look like
the bug people have described, because it is near identical the the black lines
flicker I get (my lines look thinner, single pixel widths).

This bug also affects my Inspiron 3520.
This is probably related - I also found that plugging cable into the
HDMI port then unpugging causes internal speakers to go dead. The only
way to restore sound output through internal speakers is to plug into
headphones port then unplug headphones port -
I really need the option to import radio station list too.
Why has this not been implemented yet?

follows for lid close
Suspend = Suspend
HIbernate = Hibernate
Do Nothing = Blank screen

Do this to get the bug to show -
First open a large document with multiple paragraphs and various formatting.
Now change the character width for whole document. Press select all
(Ctrl+A) then FormatCharacter... Position scale width 10%
Now try to change it back to 100%.
