I have a networked Canon pixma mg6320. Printing was no problem. Using xsane I receive 'invalid argument' although the scanner is listed twice in the opening dialog. I am able to scan using gimp. Re the SaneDaemon tutorial I added /etc/systemd/system/saned.socket and saned@.service. then systemctl
