I still can confirm this with Ubuntu 16.10 amd64, with Cinnamon 3.2.8.

I'm surprised too, when I saw the date of the original bugreport. But I
can easily reproduce this issue on the latest LTS. Whichever version
I've tried, it will crash after a cancelled scan. I can't even use that
button.
