Unfortunately I have to revise what I said. The bug does still exists in 4.13. There is however the difference that with the 4.10 kernel it always exists, whereas in 4.13 it sometimes happens and sometimes correctly switches to analog audio. I haven't found yet any pattern when it happens. **
