my case, but I could figure out that my keyboard is at

how do you actually reinstall this libgtk2.0 as mentioned in this

When debugging a program using GDB-6.6 on a Gutsy Gibbon machine (uname:
2.6.22-6-generic i686), it cannot find the linux virtual Dynamic Shared
Object (vDSO), kept in linux-gate.so.1. Apparently, it seems that one
cannot read from linux-gate.so.1

I assume you're talking about the graphical boot menu when you mean
bootgfx? Also the busybox menu, that is just the shell showing up after
the PC says /bin/sh/:can't access tty job control turned off, with the
shell identifier (initramfs)?

Feisty boot fail
Well, it doesn't work for me on my desktop.
I send you a link to a screenshot (3.2 Mb) to prove this. Note that it
is packaged in a tar file.
Closely watch the icons on the desktop before and after the custom
application was added. No change at all: no custom icon added for my
application.
