So apparently Ubuntu doesn't have Icecream (the distributed compiler)
packages? Oh wait:
$ aptitude search icecc
i icecc
I can confirm that the fixed alias works. This is a minor change so it
would be nice if it was fixed by default.

pyClamd 0.1.1 doesn't work with Pyt
To test, install python-pyclamd and clamav-daemon:
$ sudo aptitude install python-pyclamd clamav-daemon
Update the virus definition database (to make sure you have one):
$ sudo -u clamav freshclam
Then do anything that would make it raise an exception:
$ python
>>> import pyclamd
>>> pyclamd.i

exceptions (raise ExceptionType, string), but Python 2.6 won't allow

I had this same problem, but I'm not using encrypted home directories. I
did set my home directories permissions to 770 though. Moving the
authorized keys to /etc/ssh/%u/authorized_keys worked.
Client: Ubuntu 9.04
Server: Ubuntu 9.04

It's also worth noting that the "desktop cube" effect is working with 2
desktops (it's just flat).

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 with compiz 1:0.7.4-0ubuntu6 and
compizconfig-settings-manager 0.7.4-0ubuntu2.
When I have 1 or 2 desktops, the 3D windows effect doesn't do anything. Once I
change it to 3 or higher, it starts working.
