Create a file in a directory called "/etc/dhcp3/gadmin-dhcpd" called
"settings.conf", and put the following contents in it.
dhcpd_conf: /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf
lease_file: /var/lib/dhcp3/dhcpd.leases

For some reason, I had both xulrunner 1.9.1 and 1.9.2 installed. When I
completely removed 1.9.1, removed my workspace directory, and removed my
.eclipse directory it fixed the issue for me. (Many thanks for the
xulrunner tip, Martijn.)

Let me make sure I understand the problem. Let's say a machine has 8GB
of RAM. At install time, the boot kernel only sees 3GB of RAM, so it
creates a 3GB swap partition. Then later, the installer detects that

FYI - this system was upgraded from Karmic, in the normal way - it is not a
fresh install.
I have upgraded my mythtv system to Ubuntu 10.04 beta-1, and the problem
still exists in that version. I hope this fix is pushed out before the
final release of 10.04.

I have the same problem after updates on the latest VMware player on Win
7 64 and on the latest VMware fusion on Snow Leopard. Initial beta
install worked fine but updates killed the keyboard for the login
screen. I was able to use the on-screen keyboard to login after
enabling it and rebooting.
I can confirm this probem on my AAOne running lucid beta-1. It was also
present in Karmic, but I was able to use madwifi instead, which resolved
the issue.
I have not been able to get madwifi working in lucid yet.

This is a segfault caused by update-grub due to lvm / dev mapper errors
I've had it before when my dm-raid was degraded and I was using lvm2 on top of
it.
Fixing the drive / lvm errors corrected the problem before.

Good news. I replaced my older Belkin Omni Cube 4-Port (PS-2) model
F1D094 with a brand new IOGEAR 2 port (USB) model GCS632U and I no
longer have the issue above. Ubuntu 9.04 now can see the LCD panel and
allows compiz to run. The 9.10 Beta Live Disc I referenced above also
works without any issue

LVM2 Volume Group.

When I got everything migrated off of it, the Ubuntu Karmic Alternate CD (Beta)
installed grub2 with no segfaults.

I had the same problem. xrdp wouldn't stay running from the startup
scripts, but if I logged in I could run it manually with no problems.
After a few days of trying everything I could think of I stumbled upon a

I have the same issue with low-graphics mode when using a KVM switch.
Monitor is not recognized. However it works just fine when the monitor
is connected straight to PC. I ran the command above "get-edid | parse-
edid" Results attached with X log files.

Apologies, but I forgot to add that WICD is working as well for me as
heartwarmer confirmed. I will repost if WICD proves to be spotty like
network-manager.
