Just a suggestion to anyone who decides to fight this battle... It turns out my USB bluetooth adapter doesn't survive suspend/resume. After I resume, I need to restart my computer before I can get audio over bluetooth. Unplugging and plugging the USB device doesn't help. It's a Broadcom Corp.
