Over Christmas I dual booted into Windows and run a error check on my NTFS drive. I also run my box with the case off for a few days. The error check took ages, but finally completed. Since then I have not encountered the crash problem. Please could you mark this issue as closed. Thank you.

Just added the comment above and it crashed again. The screen freezes and the mouse and keyboard are unresponsive. Unfortunately, my other machine that listens to the netconsole was not on, so I missed the log. Is there another way to find the log, rather than netconsole? -- You received this
