This works for me for in a compiled Compiz 0.9.12.2 using KDE and Debian 8 at
least for me.
(Don't remember when it first was fixed, but I think it's been fixed for a
while)
This is definitely more a bug than a feature request. Compiz has had bindings
that use screen edges for a long time, as
workarounds:
sudo sysctl net.ipv6.conf.wlan0.accept_dad=0
followed by disconnecting and reconnecting wireless gets IPv6 back for me for
the session, and
adding 'net.ipv6.conf.wlan0.accept_dad=0' to '/etc/sysctl.conf' got IPv6 to
work on reboots.

I ran into this same problem when I tried to upgrade 11.10 to 12.04, same
changes fixed the problem
I ended up doing something like:
commenting out the
`UPGRADER_DIR=dists/$CODENAME/main/dist-upgrader/binary-all` line. (put a #
infront of it)
Then change the fullpath line to
Guess I could have spoke too soon... (got a little further but...)
Failed to add the CD
There was a error adding the CD, the upgrade will abort. Please report
this as a bug if this is a valid Ubuntu CD.
The error message was:
'Unable to locate any package files, perhaps this is not a Ubuntu
replacing the `$cddirname` in the last line with the full path to the
cdrom/mounted iso directory/etc... seamed to have fixed those
problems...

in comment(#14) an 'l' is missing. It should read:
sudo apt-get install librtmp0/precise
When I tried this command, I got a message:
The following packages will be DOWNGRADED:
librtmp0
Did a 'Y' to 'Do you want to continue [Y/n]?'
and it fixed my problem.

Afterwards I installed flashplugin64-installer, and then put back
google-talkplugin.
(Hadn't tested google-talkplugin, but the acroread, and flash seams to work)

I got 'Compiz Wallpaper' working in 'Ubuntu Classic Session' in 'Ubuntu
11.04 beta 2' in' Virtualbox with 4.0.4', with the desktop icons hidden,

plugins-extra' (and upgrades, etc...) installed using 'Synaptic'

@Hiisukun, If I remember right, you have to do something like `mkdir
build` `cd build` `cmake ..` `make` `sudo make install` in the 'plugins-
extra' folder instead of just the 'wallpaper' folder.
Note: I didn't try this method out for Ubuntu 11.04.

Compiz wallpaper doesn't work for me either on Ubuntu 10.10, at least
for the desktops I've tried KDE, GNOME, and XFCE. (with or without
icons, or using the Ctrl+Alt+F2... trick, etc...)
This is currently my most wanted feature fixed of features that no

Connection to BlueZ failed
Reinstalling 'BlueZ' in synaptic fixed it for me
What caused it to go bad?, or what went wrong?, What did reinstalling
BlueZ change?, I don't know, but reinstalling BlueZ fixed the problem
(or at least seamed to fix it, this time).

/etc/init.d/bluetooth does not
I first installed 0.5.6-1 (lucid) and later upgraded to 0.6.3-1~ppa1
(lucid). I guess I might have started those in the older version. Don't
know for sure since I was still playing around with trying it out, when
I upgraded.
Since you suggested it, I created a new diary, this diary didn't start
I can get Lifeograph diaries to open with up to any three password characters,
and when it goes back into being 'locked' I can open it with the same or
different set of up to three characters. If I ever try a password of more than
3 characters Lifeograph won't 'unlock' again, no mater what
Uninstalling OpenOffice.org fixed the error, and the install finished.
(but I still restored my 8.04 image for a bunch of other reasons)

When I try

I get the icon in the tray, with the left click to show/hide not working and
