The 0.8.6.1 version for Xenial has recently stopped working, most likely due to
the fact that it is using a deprecated API.
The symptoms are that the weather plugin displays "No Data" instead of weather
data.

Seems to be a problem with the PolicyKit, since this issue started for me
today. I can no longer launch SoftwareUpdater or software-center (the latter
just consumes all 4 GB of system memory in a few seconds.)
The only thing that works right now is running it as "gksu update-manager" ...

Yes, the install of the specific version worked for me; you do get a warning
from apt-get that you are downgrading a package, but we all know that is not
the case here.

This is now happening on my 64-bit Xubuntu 12.10 installation
consistently. After logging in, Thunar will not show the Network and
Trash icons in the left pane. Killing the process and restarting Thunar
will cause the icons to display properly.

properly, causing the XFCE menu to be overwitten by a large bitmap region on

$ killall -9 e-addressbook-factory
$ /usr/lib/desktopcouch-stop
$ rm ~/.config/desktop-couch/desktop-couchdb.ini
$ /usr/lib/evolution/e-addressbook-factory

Now, I get an empty address book, and after a few seconds, a timeout

file, but not in seahorse. In my attempt to get this to work, I deleted

Running Evolution 2.32.2 and the problem still happens. Basically, it cannot
access the UbuntuOne address book.
