chipset ) and a System 76 Starling ( intel GMA 950 chipset), Attempting
to start compiz using System-Preferences-Appearance-Visual Effects
fails, but I can start

After moving ~320mb of versioned software repositories to my Ubuntu One
share, I've noticed that the Ubuntu One client is constantly working.
Further inspection with top(1) shows the ubuntuone-syncdaemon

I'm able to boot kernel using the boot flag acpi=off, but that obviously
disables acpi support.
