Today I installed pending updates on my machine and the restarted. On
restart, machine stops 5.5 seconds into boot process with the error
"[drm:intel_pipe_config_compare [i915]] *ERROR* mismatch in ips_enabled
(expected 1, found 0)"
I can hop over to a tty login using
