I re-wrote the ISO to thumb-drive, and it's now booted on dc7700 box...
A direct clone boots; where as the first test today was written with
`mkusb-plug`, a 3rd party app from PPA - thus the 'incomplete'...
(which may become invalid).

Just in case someone else comes across this issue, on my setup it was
traced back to the .pc subdirectory. Removing it fixed it.

On Dell's platform, Warlock/Bullseye Laptops have a mono DMIC, Cyborg and some
Warlock variants uses a stereo DMIC. They are not correctly mapped to the
corresponding configurations so the microphone function are not working as
expected.

it's possible not all package upgrades had taken effect, there is a
message saying a restart is required because of dbus-deamon upgrade
(can't do that on a live system) & lack of disk space on system.. so may
require verification when an ISO build completes.

@sarcher: Have you restarted all of the Ceph daemons? The packages take
pains to not restart the services when performing a package upgrade and
intermittent failure like this sounds like it works when talking to
newer daemons and doesn't when talking to older ones.

1) 5.13.19 does not suffer from this bug
2) The Ubuntu 5.15 kernels, and mainline 5.16 and 5.17 kernels *do* suffer from
this bug.
Also of note: this only occurs the *first* time KMS tries to come up on

I zsync'd the ubuntu-desktop-CANARY ISO and still two menu firefox
entries are present there.. alas I didn't check ISO date on boot
(IMG/ISO issues currently).
Ubuntu-MATE ISO does NOT have this issue on ISO 2022-03-25, only a
single firefox entry exists there.
