It looks like I had some gnome shell extensions that were causing
problems. I was able to get things to work by following the
instructions here to disabling them:

Upgrading 18.10 to 19.04: cannot leave overview mode, computer needs

Same problem here. Also I can launch a terminal via keyboard shortcuts,
but the focus doesn't seem to get set for the terminal window and
nothing I type shows up in there.
My 19.04 install is not useable until this bug gets resolved.

It always does it if I use the drag and drop method (slower and slower and then
read-only) but when it started doing it I read on a post that copying that way
is an issue that it makes it get real slow and I should try doing it with the
cp command in terminal which is faster copying but still ma

Kulix, they posted it on the forums along with mine.
But now in Quantum Quetzle it is still doing it, it even ruined a new media
player that I got just to try it.

I'm using Ubuntu 8.10, and it appears that tsclient is reversing the RDP
protocol version from the selection.
If I select RDPv5, rdesktop is called with -4. If I select RDP (version
4), I see -5 on the rdesktop command line and the clipboard works just
fine.
