[Bug 1634354] [NEW] Copy and paste keyboard shortcuts on right click menu do not work

2016-10-17 Thread Chris McFarland
Public bug reported: Copy and Paste with the C and P keys on the right click menu does not work in GNOME Terminal 3.18.3 (included with Ubuntu 16.04). The ability to copy and paste this way used to work in the version of GNOME Terminal included with Ubuntu 14.04 (3.6.2, I think?), so this is a reg

2016-09-28 Thread Chris McFarland
This is actually still a problem in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (and possibly later releases -- I haven't checked). I just encountered it by accidentally closing the lid on my laptop while reinstalling Ubuntu. Thankfully, resuming seemed to work properly, but I think this should still be fixed. Suspending th

Hmm... it looks like openscenegraph/trusty-proposed just has symlinks to a few .so files instead of the actual library files. The osgdb_freetype.so file actually gets installed with libopenscenegraph99 /trusty-proposed, which wasn't getting installed on my system when I did apt-get install openscen

I tried installing openscenegraph/trusty-proposed (3.2.0~rc1-4ubuntu0.1) following Chris Arges's instructions, but unfortunately it did not fix the issue -- the font rendering appears the same as before, even with a full rebuild of affected software. It looks like libosgdb_freetype.so is not getti

[Bug 1339264] [NEW] Missing FreeType support in 14.04 LTS package

2014-07-08 Thread Chris McFarland
Public bug reported: The current package (3.2.0~rc1-4) available for Ubuntu 14.04 is missing support for FreeType due to a build bug that is listed as fixed in 3.2.0~rc1-5. This results in very poor quality text in OpenSceneGraph applications that are running on 14.04 (which used to be fine in 12.
