Whilst running ArchLinux, this bug seems to be resolved without the
requirement of custom scripts, under kernel 4.15. Full details are
below:

GNU/Linux
Pulseaudio 11.1

As per the update #36 by Erikas, he has updated the UX43UA and UX43UQ
page for anyone running below this kernel, but I can confirm I did not
apply that script on this installation, and it's working fine.
