I just tested 3.10.0-031000-generic #201306301935 - this upstream build
crashes so I guess the root cause is something in the 3.10 mainline...

Yes, this started happening after an upgrade.
Currently it all works well with kernel 3.5.0-26-generic in precise.
This is the first time we're trying out our configuration on saucy.
I'll try get our system downgraded to 3.10.0-2 for testing...
