I have been experiencing this problem through every Ubuntu-distributed
kernel since 10/29/2011, when I purchase the USB3 enclosure listed
below. I am currently experiencing this on Ubuntu 12.10 (server
edition), kernel 3.5.0-23-generic on x86_64 arch.
As with other reports, the problem goes
+1 to up the importance field on this bug.
