I'm attempting to draw text onto a video using either the avconv
command. When specifying x= for where on the final video to place the
text, the 'text_w' value is evaluating to 0, rather than the width of

During the Maverick install process, I had the following setup:
1) An external eSata 1TB drive
2) An internal laptop drive 320GB
3) A 512MB SD Card (04:00.0 SD Host controller: Ricoh Co Ltd Device e822 (rev
01))
I chose the internal laptop drive for the installation.
You wouldn't happen to have a tftp server installed would you? That's
the one major service that runs on port 69, which is what mpd is
claiming is taken.

I do notice a message during configuration stating:
The acidbase package must have a database installed and configured
before it can be used. This can be optionally handled with dbconfig-
common.
Since dbconfig-common doesn't have the ability to install the actual

I have uim-gtk2.0 1:1.0.0-1ubuntu1 and uim 1:1.0.0-1ubuntu1 installed.
I recently did a gnome upgrade on my Edgy system, and found out that uim
no longer worked. Upon investigation it seemed as though the uim files
were installed in /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/immodules, which
