Same here. Backing up over samba share. Deja-Dup is completely
unuseable, using Ubuntu 14.10 and Arch Linux (Deja-Dup 32.0, duplicity
6.5 and 7.0).

Oh, and I would rate this not as Medium, but as high. Suspend is a
really major feature nowadays in the workflow of people - if that dows
not work as a regression in a LTS kernel, I think this deserves a high
priority (just my 2 cents).

1. My comment above is obsolete anyway, as the new LO does not use
sensible-lomua any more. It talks directly to the ExternalMailer.

While it workarounds the issue temporarily, it should be solved in the package.
There are two options for Ubuntu:
* pre-fill the field in the libreoffice package with "thunderbird"
(Ubuntu-centric)
* add a link /usr/bin/sensible-louma which points to /usr/bin/thunderbird
I'd prefer the second opt

Setting the input method to "none" does not work here. Same 19% CPU
