I installed Gutsy Tribe 5 and since have kept it fully updated. I am
running Compiz, but this bug appears with compiz disabled as well. All
tool tips are black and so you cannot read what they say. The tool tips
do popup, but they are not readable.

I agree this need fixing, I ran into the same bug and just came out to
