When --edge
I've got a T-Mobile HTC G2 and this is still a problem. It appears I
still need to touch the .is_audio_player file to be able to see the
device in Rhythmbox.
This seems like a bigger Android issue, rather than just the N1.

Interestingly enough, I could repeatedly reproduce this error while
Ubuntu One wasn't configured -- as soon as I configured it and restarted
Rhythmbox everything was fine. Could the error message just be
incorrect here? -- Plugin install looks like it happens, and then
connectivity to the music

Hi Brewster,
After working through this one with ddecator, it seems that this happens
when Ubuntu One is not connected and the synchronize option is selected.
Running u1sdtool -c causes everything to sync up fine. Confirming.
