Retested with Feisty H4 and it worked. It appears that the problem, at

Thank you!

Binary package hint: ubiquity
Kubuntu Feisty, Herd 2 - Crash happens right before you get the option
to select "manual" or "automatic" partitioning. I never get to see the
partition table.
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/bin/ubiquity", line 185,
Confirmed, same exact problem and trouble report as Terence above.
The command given by Brandioch above seems to have fixed the problem.

I experienced the same issue this morning on Feisty. The system prompted

Hi Sebastien,
Yes I activated exchange-plugins inside of Evolution. I didn't realize
that you could run Evolution from the command line. I will try that this
morning, after I remove the user settings from .gconf.
Thank you for the reply.

I'm running Feisty H2 and Evolution 2.9.6 on this laptop. At install

This is happening to me on Feisty H-2 running the default FF 2.0.0.1,
though in my case the Bookmarks toolbar only comes back after I reboot
the system. Restarting FF itself won't cause it to come back.

Not much to report. I clicked on Applications and then Add/Remove and
the gnome-app-install immediately crashed without, apparently, launching

The default homepage for FireFox reports "Welcome to Ubuntu 6.10, Edgy

installed the older version by mistake!
This should probably be changed to reflect Feisty, IMHO.
