I should also add that when I do "Advanced Install" and choose the
correct HD as listed by the GRUB device map, all I'd get is an endless
looping of the word GRUB filling my screen when I boot up the system.
The workaround I found was using Grub4DOS, but I don't like to do that,

You're not really me are you? Because this is just about the EXACT SAME
THING, that's been plaguing me since Feisty. This still is a problem in
Gutsy (Alpha tests were the only thing I've done).

I can confirm this with WG311 v2 (ACX Firmware). The card was seemed to
be "detected". When I tried to connect to a network however, the system
froze and the CAPS LOCK and SCROLL LOCK lights on my keyboard were
flashing at me.

That sounds JUST like my problem.
Started in Feisty, GRUB would want to install on the wrong drive, and when I
tried to set it to the drive that was was the start drive in the GRUB Drive
Map, I'd get an endless Looping of the word "GRUB" all over my screen when I
