The issue with Trusty for me was that I was using a PPA repo mc3man
/trusty-media [https://launchpad.net/~mc3man/+archive/ubuntu/trusty-
media] to get ffmpeg and related libraries, applications. This repo for
some reason had "libvncserver0" in there at version
"0.9.9+dfsg-6~ubuntu14.04.1~ppa1". I
If you're using TLP http://linrunner.de/en/tlp/tlp.html then you can
disable power management when on battery by changing the option
"WIFI_PWR_ON_BAT=5" to "WIFI_PWR_ON_BAT=1" about halfway down in the
file "/etc/default/tlp".

the debian package from the emovix sourceforge.net page
http://sourceforge.net/projects/movix/ choose the emovix download then
the debian package. This installs the required files to create emovix
