I downloaded and applied the packages, noting that it was downgrading
the version. I logged out. Logged in. Hit the activity key, stuck.
Alt-F2 to execute "r" to recover. Logged Out. Logged in again this time
under Wayland. Hit activity key, stuck. Alt-F2 to execute "reboot". Then
used apt up
Sorry didn't provide enough context.
After I installed the downgraded gjs packages, the problem persists with
Dock, in both Xorg and Wayland.
