The workaround did work for me. I am really disappointed in the quality
of Natty.

This is still happening on Natty. I wanted to use a VM with VMWare
Player that was saved on my NTFS partition. It was totally unuseable, I
noticed the mount.ntfs-3g consumed all the CPU. I moved the VM to my
ext4 drive and it is now flying. Both partitions are on the same disk
and I had mounted

The comment from @obrowny makes me think that the problem might occur
where one process is connecting to calendar and waiting process tries
the same and then overwrites a pointer when it creates a connection.

I just tested with Natty LiveCD on my USB stick.
The e-calendar-factory memory increased again until all available was
consumed. This time it ended in a crash report which I submitted.

Noticed an update to evolution on ubuntu 10.10.
I applied the update and tested google calendar once again.
The memory leak occured again as soon as the calendar is being loaded.

Now a process named e-calendar-factory has a memory leak and grows to 2.5G
usage in a few seconds and CPU at 98%.
The only functionality I can link it to is my Google Calendar. I have removed
my CalDAV calendar. The memory jump as soon as I start viewing my Google
Calendar and then the machine

After booting with 10.04 beta1 UNR Live USB I could access the 3G network using
the dongle.
The problem must have been default permissions not allowing configuration of
network devices etc.
I would question why the first user which is an administrator would not
be allowed to configure wireless
Test with 9.10 UNR Live and dongle is detected and can connect to 3G network.
Installed 9.10 UNR as well and I am doing an update to see if it still works
after update.

After updating 9.10 UNR to latest from repo the USB dongle was not
visible. I checked the security and noticed that wireless and network
devices where disabled for my user by default. I enabled them and the

All I can add is that the same problem exists with 1.0.4-1feisty2 and it
relates to the post build configuration script that fails with default
