Hi,
I have an acer aspire 9802wkmi with 2.1 sound system (small subwoofer
built into my laptop) with a 82801G (IHC7) ALC883 chip
I have been trying basically all things available now during the last week to
get my sound to work correctly. I have tried both ubuntu 7.04 and 7
Forgot to say that my earplugs are working just fine in the right/left channel,
and that the subwoofer is getting muted when I plug them in.
So that seems to work as it is supposed to.
