used unetbootin to put lubuntu 15.04 on the thumb drive after the gtk
usb creator failed without root-starting. after root starting the gtk
usb creator it always had two files that failed to install correctly on
the drive and would fail when a disk check was run or an install
It seems to me that I have a similar problem. When I was installing
Ubuntu 9.10 Server I answered to "Automatickly part the disk and
configure LVM". Installation finished succsessfully, but when I'm trying
to boot the system it says:"no such partition". I typed "set" at a gnome
resque panel and saw

I think should input the root account password for "sudo" command in
terminal , why we have a root password if the normal user account can
finish the "sudo" command when the operator limits in terminal. by a

While I was using Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook remix, I changed from desktop for
netbooks to the classic desktop. After reboot the gnome-panel doesn't
start. I can see only a desktop but no bars on it. I also can't use
Alt+F2 to start the terminal I can't see the top of the windows, so

I got the same hardware,too and the same problems.
After Update to edgy eft -X-Server crashes when using dual screen configuration
starting
either an X-session in xfce4 or OpenOffice.
Turning of the second display solves the problem.
