When I switch filters in synaptic (like, changing 'Status' to
'Sections') then the list of packages is 'hidden' as seen in the
screenshot. If I switch 'categories' (like changing 'All' to 'Base
System') then the list of packages comes back.

Another side-effect of the powersave option is that there is a delay
between when you start playing a sound, and when you actually hear it.
This results in the first ~10 seconds being lost (not played).

When gdm would come up, if I pressed enter nothing happened. However, I
could use the arrow keys to select different users in the list, and
after pressing an arrow key I could use enter to select a user.
However, with the update of gdm to 2.27.4, this bug no longer affects
me.

After importing my GTalk account from Pidgin, some of the contacts are
added to the Buddies list, but some are not. I assume this is a bug,
because in Pidgin, they all show up in my Buddies list. If I drag the
contacts into the Buddies

I'm from the second camp too! It is quite annoying to me when my cursor
gets lost off-screen. However, as it currently stands, the cursor CAN
move in and out of the area not covered by either monitor. I'm sorry
if I wasn't clear, and I apologize for implying that this was introduced
in karmic. I

I can confirm that the bug still exists on Intrepid Ibex alpha 5 using
the AMD64 Live CD. The only difference is that the problem exists in
both directions (left and right).
