@ddstreet, the Ubuntu-lts-3.19.0-49.55_14.04.1 doesn't seem to fix this issue.
We just upgraded a Juno openstack environment to this kernel version and we are
still seeing this on a network node.

is fixed in this version. Nautilus does no longer crash when pressing
Ctr+Alt+O on the empty desktop.

When called on the empty desktop, the nautilus_view_get_selection (view)
function results in a NULL result. At that point, there is no further
need to continue the function execution and it is safe to exit as no
resources need to be released.

ubuntu kernel, both generic and server flavors. Guess I'm stuck with
dmraid for now ... or just move to SuSE (which works with mdadm 3.0.3).

to mdadm before I break my main system. I tried the same scenario with
debian and it failed to initialize the matrix. After some tinkering I
got it to assemble the matrix but when trying to mount the volume I

Do you think it is safe to build and install you package also on
maverick ? I'm trying to ditch dmraid in favor of mdadm 3 which supports
Intel Matrix metadata, and so far ubuntu isn't much help with it's
outdated package.
