my notebook is a Dell Inspiron 15R with Intel i7 processor and AMD Radeon. I've
updated to ubuntu 18.04 and I'm facing the suspend problem: it suspends but
after a time it turns off.
Would the fix on this issue also affect my machine?

I'm also having huge memory usage for gnome-shell. I noted that after
have watched a movie using another display (my smart-tv) the memory used
by it are on 3.4Gb !!!

with my environment 16.04 in Dell 15R 5537-A20, this started to happen
just after install the kernel 4.4.0-59-generic.
I just can't use the scale anymore and also I can't click any launcher
icon with multiple instances nor can't use hot corners. If I do then
compiz crash and restart.

This issue is driven me crazy... every time my notebook Dell 15R 5537
suspend I have to power it off... even if with 4.4.0-36-generic
Please could some developer tell me if a fix will be release or if do I
really need to install 4.6 kernel?

Don't know about others but my Dell's notebook is not only loosing the wifi,
after sleep it is not waking up anymore.I need to power off it...
In the log I think I just see these: /lib/systemd/system-sleep/wpasupplicant
failed with error code 255.

Have you tried this? to create a desktop configuration file and set its
command as:
env LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 SWT_GTK3=0 /thepathToEclipse/eclipse

Can you try latest I-build with export SWT_WEBKIT2=true ? There is
experimental webkit2 support which runs certain things out of process thus
improves stability greatly.
