I was attempting to upgrade to bionic from xenial using do-release-
upgrade but forgot to turn off screen locking. After an hour of
inactivity, I ended up at the login screen but the keyboard won't allow
me to enter keys in the login window and clicking the field results in a

I am able to reproduce this following a reinstall of 18.04 from the ISO
image, but only on the same box. No problems on two other computers.

In theory, I could live with a diagnosis of "incomplete" but not
"invalid". What sort of logs are you looking for? The performance data
is that video playback with mplayer on HD videos is unacceptable. I
don't know how to count dropped frames, but I can tell you that playback
is visibly, noticeably

I see a similar problem playing H.264 videos (1936x800, 24 fps) with
MPEG-4 AAC (48khz, 159kbps) audio. Things seem OK, but by after playing
the movie for tens of minutes, the sound gets out of sync by a second or
more. FWIW, there are similar issues with mplayer. The video is fine on
lesser hardwa
with the blueman bluetooth manager i was able to successfully pair my
(apple wireless) bluetooth keyboard. things seem to be working well now.
