Same symptoms as Lawrence Bezeau (see above). I have a HP Pavilion G4.
I can get to GRUB, but the system locks up during the kernel boot,
usually some time after the following message (although the specific
time is never consistent):
shpchp :00:01.0: Cannot reserve MMIO region
SP5100
This bug also affects the Bluetooth keyboard that ships with the Lenovo
A300 IdeaCentre running Ubuntu 10.04. However, I have a custom desktop
using an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard Model A1255 running Ubuntu 10.10 with
no troubles.
