I would like to say, that I also have this problem. But i don't run
Ubuntu. I have the exact same hardware, but I have updated the BIOS to
the newer version provided by Lenovo.
I run kernel 4.17-rc3.
I also believe it is connected to the Wifi card/driver.

Any news on the progress of fixing this bug? Ubuntu 14.10 is only days away
now, and many websites and applications still use java/icedtea plugins, so a
fix for this would be crucial for many.
I know that danish government still use java for public logins etc.

I got the same problem as the bug reporter. But i just run regular
Ubuntu 14.10 beta.
