I realize the bug is upstream, but just adding another report here - I
also have an Acer Aspire One with Ubuntu 10.04 final, receiving this
bug. It seems to be much more frequent in 10.04 than it was in 9.10 or
9.04.

The "fix" does not solve the issue for me. This is still occuring. I
didn't even see this bug until after I tried deleting the hal files in
my rc.local file at every bootup.
There is a tiny patch that might be worth looking at to fix this

complaints in the forums. This is a pretty major bug, and yes it is a

Is this the same issue that I am having?
Every time Evolution tries to check for new mail on my POP3 account it
asks me to enter my password, even though the checkbox is ticked to
remember the password?
