I did that myself. Mostly to make it easier in my IDE, but I can use
full path to python3 instead.

15.04 default installation.
1. Grab the whole screen
2. Grab the current window
3. Select area to grab
Using the PrintScreen button, which defaults to option 1 produces same
result.

When screen is locked launcher icons, tray icons and title text on top
are sometimes still visible in background. This strange behavior is
some times reproducible on a single screen setup. On a setup with
multiple monitors I am able to reproduce this every time.

Correction on last comment: Bug is present in gnome3 fallback as well.
However I am unable to reproduse it as often, and is as a result less
enoying.

I am also very enoyed that this issue is not yet resolved after all this
time. Because of this bug I have changed my default Window Manager from
Unity to Gnome Fallback on my 11.10 install, as the bug is not present
here. If this does not get resolved within LTS-release 12.04 I wont be
going back t
