I currently cannot reproduce the bug. After having repeatedly up- and
downgraded the ffmpeg package with synaptic, the effect described in the
bug-email seems to have vanished. I have no clue what happened and I am
sorry for the inconvenience.

After updating ffmpeg package to version "4:0.6.2-1ubuntu1.1 (natty-
updates)" ffmpeg generates avi-files with unsynchronized audio and
video. Downgrading to ffmpeg package version "4:0.6.2-1ubuntu1.1
(natty)" solves this problem.
