still work fine. What happens when you try? We aren't going to ask this
question by default - I would much rather make the installer
automatically select the proper boot loader when necessary (so I would

In Kubuntu 7.10 AMD64 Alternate Tribe 4 when the GRUB-installer asks
stuff, I choose to go back and choose LILO instead (that's because my
nVidia 8600 is incompatible with GRUB). In Tribe 5, that has changed so
I now have to do priority=low at boot and do the expert-install.
